RESIDENTIAL SUPERVISOR MONTGOMERY & PRINCE GEORGES COUNTIES
Full time Residential Supervisor positions available supervising two Assisted Living homes. Residential Supervisor will insure the health and safety of the participants; coordinate services and community integration activities, while managing the successful operation of the homes and supervising the support staff. Responsible for the overall operation of the houses; including managing house funds, daily living budgets, grocery shopping, personal budgets, staff community activity costs; training direct care staff, ensuring staff understand policies and procedures; planning/ attending IP meetings and coordinating community events. Train staff to support individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and advocate for their rights and quality of life. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services discipline preferred or relevant college work plus six years experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and benefits.

FULL / PART TIME COUNSELORS MONTGOMERY & PRINCE GEORGES COUNTIES
We are looking for residential counselors who are good listeners and ask open-ended questions to guide participants with developmental disabilities in the right direction, rather than simply telling them what to do. Counselors should be able to accurately complete (IP) Individual Plan documentation, support individuals with how to manage their daily tasks such as meal planning, cooking, and recreational activities and when necessary provide personal care and hygiene training.
Teach, coach, supports, and monitors the individuals in activities of daily living, skill development, and actively listen and communicate with participants to encourage them to maintain relationships within their community. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least 1 years working in the Human Service field. Eligible to work in the United States, a valid US driver’s license, good driving record, pass a criminal background investigation, able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Position demands frequent lifting and carrying up to 110 pounds and prolonged periods of standing. Salary $8.43 per hour. Available schedules: Monday - Friday 6:00am- 10:00am /
Monday - Friday 3:00pm- 11:00pm
Saturday -Sunday 8:00am - 11:00pm

ISS/CLSA COUNSELORS HILLANDALE Part-time Counselor needed to work with individuals with developmental disabilities who live in their own home in the community. Counselors will support participants with personal care, household duties, and activities to enhance greater independence in the community. Work with family member to provide assistance with transferring, feeding, dressing and toileting and support leisure time activity and accompany them to appointments. The role of the counselor is to maintain accurate documentation and implement the IP and maintenance of participant’s records, and assure documentation and plans are in compliance with governing agencies. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years working in the Human Service Field, bachelor’s degree preferred. Eligible to work in the U.S., a valid US driver’s license, good driving record, pass a criminal background investigation, able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Position demands frequent lifting and carrying up to 110 pounds and prolonged periods of standing. Salary $9.82

REGISTERED NURSE NURSING HALLANDALE
Full-time RN need to work with adults with developmental disabilities in our Residential Program. The position requires the RN to maintain medical information and operate as delegating nurse of medication administration for 10-12 group homes. They will consult with staff regarding issues and concerns relevant to participant’s medical needs and coordinate planning, and long-range goals with the team. May advise participants on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Work with medical providers to assess participants’ health problems and needs, maintain medical records and assess, plan, implement and evaluate participants care plans and to ensure the nursing care plan is being followed. Perform administrative and managerial functions, such as implement programs designed to improve the overall health of participants and provide (CMT) Certified Medical Technician training to staff. Knowledge of DDA regulations, Maryland RN license and five years of relevant experience a plus. Salary is $33.00 an hour plus benefits.

RELIEF INSTRUCTOR ALL DAY PROGRAMS
We are looking for people who are flexible and would like to work on call as an instructor in our Day Programs. Staff person will provide assistance with transferring, feeding, dressing and toileting when necessary. Maintain accurate documentation and implement the IP. Requirements: High School diploma/GED plus two years working with people with developmental disabilities. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, pass a criminal background investigation, be eligible to work in the United States and be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Position demands frequent lifting and carrying. Must be able to lift or carry and/or exert force in excess of 100 pounds occasionally and in excess of 50 pounds frequently and/or move objects and withstand prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending. Hours M - F 8:30 to 4:00, Salary $9.03

VAN DRIVERS TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
Drivers wanted to operate standard vans and/or vans with wheelchair lifts for disabled passengers. Hours vary by route; schedules from 6:00 am - 8:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Requirements: Applicants must have a High School diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license and driving record not to exceed 2 points and 5 years driving experience, eligible to work in the United States, pass a criminal background investigation, and be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Position demands frequent lifting and carrying therefore must be able to lift or carry and/or exert force in excess of 100 pounds occasionally and in excess of 50 pounds frequently and/or move objects and withstand prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending. Benefits are available for full time staff. Salary $8.43
