DIRECTOR OF NURSING
— Seeking a Director with experience in management and supervision
of nurses who work with adults with developmental disabilities in
small community residential settings and in habilitative day programs.
The Director will be responsible for the medical care and program
needs of individuals who are ‘aging in place.’ Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and demonstrated experience in managing

IT WORKSTATION SUPPORT TECHNICIAN —
Full-time, M-F, to provide technical support for PC workstation
hardware and software and network-related matters for employees
at approximately 10 sites. Must have a thorough working knowledge
of Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite (2000 and 2003),
PCs and printer hardware, and TC/IP, and be able to configure printers
and peripherals using fixed IP’s. Active Directory experiences
a plus. Requirements: High School diploma and some courses related
to IT Support. Other responsibilities include assisting with end
user training and support. Must be able to communicate effectively
in written and verbal English and keep a daily log/report of work
accomplished. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

SUMMER
RECREATION COUNSELORS at Milton Lodge, DE—
Full-time, temporary to work with adult vacationers with developmental
disabilities. Position is live-in, June through August at Milton
Lodge, DE, 10 minutes from the beach at Rehoboth. Must have high
school diploma/GED and valid driver’s license. Experience
with disabled adults helpful but not necessary. CHI will train.
Salary is $9.00-$10.50/hour plus room and board.
INWOOD HOUSE
ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR — Full-time,
M-F, to be responsible for all facets of the admissions process
for leasing Section 202/8 apartments to adults with disabilities
and seniors. Must comply with all HUD, State and local housing regulations,
market apartments, process applications, interview applicants, conduct
lease signings, and assist applicants with securing necessary community
support services. Duties involve processing lots of paperwork, and
require file organization, MS Word skills, and strong written and
verbal communication skills. Must possess ability to assess applicants’
support needs for independent living and to present a positive professional
image to the public. Requirements: Relevant college degree (social
work, management) and two years experience related to housing leasing,
case management or community services delivery to adults with disabilities
or seniors. High school diploma or GED with significant housing,
leasing, case management, or social service experience may be considered.
$14.38 per hour starting, plus benefits.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT
MAIL ROOM LEAD WORKER -- To supervise
adults with developmental disabilities in mail room. Monday-Friday
8:30am – 4:00pm. Experience in mail room preferred and must
be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Must be U.S. citizen. HS Diploma required. $10.23/hour starting
salary. Must be US Citizen.
TENBROOK ADULT PROGRAM
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Part-time
position to provide clerical assistance. Must have computer knowledge
and experience maintaining records, filing, answering phones, etc.
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of relevant experience.
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Must be able to work some weekdays, 8:30am-3:30pm, 21 hours/week.

ISS/CSLA COUNSELORS
– Part-time positions Gaithersburg & Burtonsville:
Care for adults with developmental disabilities in private homes,
working independently one-on-one administering direct care, providing
recreation activities, and accurate record keeping. Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years experience providing
direct care. Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and
written English. Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation
also required. $9.83 per hour.
PROGRAM SUPPORT SERVICES
CASE RESOURCE MANAGER — Full-time
case manager to work with adults with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: (a) review and
modification of participant individual plans to assure relevancy
and implementation, (b) maintenance of participant records, (c)
leadership to staff, family members and social service team members
for development and implementation of full support programs, and
(d) assure documentation and plans are in compliance with governing
agencies. High school equivalent plus 4 years education and/or related
experience needed, and must be able to communicate effectively in
verbal and written English. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. $22,000-$25,500
annually plus benefits.
RESIDENTIAL
PROGRAM MANAGER/COORDINATOR –
Full-time: Manage residential group homes, serving approximately
15 adults with developmental disabilities. Assist with recruitment
and training of new staff, and will work with live-in staff to offer
direction regarding scheduling and supervision of staff. Also coordinates
resident services/appointments with nurse and works cooperatively
with Program Support Services and live-in staff to ensure that assigned
homes are maintained in accordance with DDA licensing and CARF standards.
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. $26,000-$30,000 annually plus
benefits.
COMMUNITY LIVING SUPERVISOR
(Live In Position) – Full-time on-site: Home Supervisor responsible
for all aspects of the individual home including staffing, staff
reviews and training, budgeting, required agency and government
documentation and reporting, home maintenance and schedules. Must
be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Starting Pay $24,300 – 26,100 + benefits.
RELIEF/PART-TIME COMMUNITY LIVING SUPERVISOR &
RESIDENTIAL/HOME COUNSELORS
Full and part-time positions: Direct support and supervision of
developmentally disabled participants in CHI Centers group homes.
Responsible for establishing and implementing short and long term
plans and goals to train residents in personal and home daily living,
providing leisure time needs, and serving their emergency requirements.
This position involves hands-on work as well as supervisory duties
including systematic record keeping of the home and each resident,
periodic staff meetings and in-service training, supervision of
volunteers and program assistants. Requirements: High school diploma
or equivalent, 3 years related experience and/or education. Position
demands frequent lifting and carrying up to 110 pounds, prolonged
periods of standing, and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling
and pushing. Must be eligible to work within the United States and
have a valid US driver’s license, and must be able to communicate
effectively in verbal and written English. A criminal background
check and TB test must be authorized and passed for all employees.
Base salary $ 8.43 per hour. $12.57 per hour if have current C.N.A
license from Maryland Board of Nursing.
INWOOD HOUSE
APARTMENT CLEANERS -- Part-time, temporary.
Duties include cleaning apartments for Inwood House residents during
the daytime. Apartment Cleaners must be able to interact with persons
with developmental disabilities in a positive manner, and must be
able to maintain confidentiality during and after employment. Must
be able to perform all physical requirements of the job and must
be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent. $20/hour.
TRANSPORTATION
VAN DRIVER — Driver to operate
standard vans and vans with wheelchair lifts for disabled passengers.
Hours vary by route; schedules from 6:00 am - 8:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Requirements: A valid driver’s license, 5 years driving experience
and record not to exceed 2 points. Must be able to communicate in
English clearly with 2-way radio. Extensive physical demands include
ability to lift and carry at least 45 lbs. Starting Pay –
$8.43 - $8.85 per hour.
