Our daughter Judy was the first resident in the newly created Residential Program of CHI, entering the program at age 19 in April 1984. She is still a resident, at age 42, at the Mill Creek home. It has been an outstanding program, with dedicated staff, in which and Judy has thrived--she is healthy, happy, and usually in a good mood. We deeply appreciate the work and loving care by all of those involved. John White, who has been Residential Director for Judy's program virtually throughout her stay at CHI, has repeatedly demonstrated his responsiveness to Judy's needs and his availability and willingness to talk to us .

We really appreciate CHI centers and all the programs they offer.Our daughter Debra Blaine has been attending MIlton Lodge vacation program for over 25 years. She has attended various sessions and she is still very exited every year when vacation times comes round.

All of the counselors are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. From what we hve observed over the years, all of the vacationers leave with anticipation and come back very happy and looking forward to the next time.Of course, Debra is looking forward to next year, and we are looking forward to her having another very enjoyable vacation. How wonderful! For 60 years C.H.I Centers has been serving children and adults with developmental disabilities with workshops, community involvement, residential housing, and many opportunities for enjoyment, in a caring and supportive environment.

My daughter has been a client at C.H.I for going on 23 years, both as an employee in the workshop and in residential housing, giving her an opportunity to have an extended family and friends and to take pride in her accomplishments as a worker and participant in such a necessary organization.
